A Girl’s Weekend Guide to Denver Colorado
Frequent readers of this blog know this is not my first time planning a girl’s trip! This time we chose Denver Colorado! With its stunning landscapes, thriving food scene, and vibrant nightlife, Denver offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Denver
After checking into the Maven Hotel at Milk Block, we were immediately captivated by its modern charm and convenient location. The hotel’s lobby food court, designed for easy breakfasts and coffee, was a great way to start our day with delicious fuel.
To kick off our evening, we headed to Ghost Donkey, a trendy tequila and mezcal bar known for its vibrant atmosphere and creative cocktails. Sipping on our drinks, we soaked in the energetic ambiance and shared laughter-filled conversations.
For dinner, we had a reservation at Linger, an innovative eatery housed in a converted mortuary. With its globally inspired menu and rooftop bar offering breathtaking views of the city, Linger provided a memorable dining experience that combined culinary excellence with a unique setting.
Day 2: Relaxation and Adventure
On our second day, we decided to indulge in some much-needed relaxation at SunWater Spa, located just a short day trip away from Denver. Nestled amidst natural beauty in Manitou Springs, this tranquil oasis offered a range of healing mineral water pools, rejuvenating spa treatments, and yoga classes. After a day of pampering, we felt refreshed and ready for the next adventure.
For lunch, we headed to the Garden of the Gods Club, an elegant dining venue overlooking the iconic red rock formations of the Garden of the Gods Park. As we savored our delicious meal, we marveled at the stunning panoramic views surrounding us, immersing ourselves in the beauty of Colorado’s nature.
Nightlife Extravaganza To continue our exciting girls’ trip, we explored Denver’s vibrant nightlife scene. Miller and Rossi, a stylish cocktail lounge, welcomed us with its chic ambiance and expertly crafted drinks. It was the perfect spot for pre-clubbing libations and delectable small plates.
Our final destination for the night was Beacon, a funky all-ages club located on Larimer Street. The club’s energetic vibe, diverse music selection, and lively dance floor made it an ideal place to let loose and dance the night away. Larimer Street itself transformed into a lively party scene as the night progressed, with lines forming outside various venues, adding to the electric atmosphere.
